Eden and Marya are sisters who grew up in Northern California. Their mother was first diagnosed with cancer when Marya was still in the womb, in 1981. Having recently lost their mother - Barbara Osucha - on January 17, 2008 this blog is their collective space to grieve, to share, and hopefully to help others who are experiencing a similar tragedy of loss.

Eden Osucha is an Assistant Professor of American Literature at Bates College in Maine. Marya Osucha is a freelance writer and photographer living in Paris, France.
